Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 (2 week class)

Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® 2 software is essential for today's digital photography workflow. Now you can quickly import, process, manage, and showcase your images — from one shot to an entire shoot. With Lightroom 2, you spend less time in front of the computer and more time behind the lens.

This is a two-day workshop, 3 hours each, once a week for two consecutive weeks.

In this hands-on, two-day class, you’ll learn the procedures and techniques on how to streamline your digital photography workflow, making you work smarter rather than harder.

What you will learn in Lightroom?

Performing nondestructive editing.
Enjoy robust support for more than 150 camera raw formats, and experiment with confidence. Adjustments you make to images in Lightroom won't alter the original data, whether you're working on a JPEG, TIFF, DNG, or camera raw file.

Quickly download images from your camera to your computer. Automatically rename files, organize folders, and even add metadata to photos as you import them.

Create Multiple Catalogs, for your personal fine art work and a separate catalog for your business or family portraits. Archive a catalog for later use or to transfer to another computer.

Enjoy an elegant, uncluttered interface.
Ease the learning curve and be productive quickly. Task-oriented modules whisk you through typical workflow tasks by putting just the tools you need at your fingertips.
Work in the Library module to organize photos into collections, to browse, evaluate, and compare images, and to add keywords so that you can easily find your images.

Professional editing tools
Fine-tune your photographs with precise, easy-to-use tools for globally correcting white balance, exposure, tone curves, lens distortion, and color casts.

Jump to the Develop module to make global adjustments to photographs, including correcting white balance, exposure, tone curves, and color casts. Create a specific preset or download many presets developed for you by other photographers.

Assemble and output high-quality printed contact sheets and generate sophisticated online web galleries and slide shows for client presentation.

Students are encouraged but not required to bring their own raw or jpeg files.

Refunds & Cancellations
Enrollment is limited, therefore your commitment is important to us. If you must withdraw from a workshop, we provide this refund policy: A $25 administrative fee will be charged on all cancellations. If you cancel 24-72 hours prior to the start of the workshop, we will retain 50% of the total workshop fee, unless we are able to fill your spot. If you cancel 24 hours or less prior to the start date of the workshop, we will retain 100% of the workshop fee unless we are able to fill your spot. No refunds are given once the workshop begins.

If you miss 1 - 2 classes of a workshop, you may sit in on those missed classes during the next session as long as space permits.

On occasion we may cancel a class because of low enrollment and/or unforeseen professional conflict on the part of the instructor. Should this be the case, al monies will be refunded in full. We do not take responsibility for non-refundable airline tickets, so please buy a refundable ticket if you are coming from outside of Los Angeles.
